Fairfield, California (Tuesday, October 30, 2012)—The Fairfield–Nirasaki Sister City program is looking for local families to host Japanese students during the annual student visit from Nirasaki, Japan. Six students and a chaperone will visit Fairfield for three weeks in December and host families are needed for each member of the delegation. Please plan to attend a special information meeting for potential host families at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 5 at the City Council Chamber, 1000 Webster Street, Fairfield. The students will arrive on Saturday, December 22, 2012, and will return to Japan on Saturday, January 12, 2013. The Sister City Committee provides activities for the students on weekdays.
