The Area Agency on Aging serving Napa and Solano (AAoA) has updated the Senior and Caregiver Resource Guides for both Napa and Solano counties. Leanne Martinsen, the AAoA Executive Director, says “One of the most important things we do is connect older adults and caregivers to services that they need to remain safe and independent in the community, and these guides are always in demand.” The guides are available in both English and Spanish, and copies are available at Senior Centers and other locations frequented by older adults.
The AAoA is a non-profit agency that provides and supports several programs for older adults, including Information and Assistance services, Meals on Wheels, mental health services, legal services, and many others. All of the AAoA’s programs are provided free of charge, but donations are accepted to help sustain the programs.
