Community Health Fair Brings Health Topics To Church
Church on Walter's Road promotes healthy living to all
The is bringing health issues into the forefront.
On Saturday, the congregation put on a Community Health Fair, focusing mainly on encouraging the public to take preventative measures to ensure a healthy lifestyle. The big topic of the day was October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and a booth was set up complete with a registered nurse to give demonstrations of how to do breast examinations.
Speakers also presented on topics including diabetes, hospice care for loved ones, high blood pressure, and the importance of making funeral arrangements ahead of time.
