My daughter is turning a year old soon and I want to throw her a great princess themed party and invite about 50 kids. My husband thinks I’m crazy and going way overboard because she won’t remember it at all. Am I wrong for this?

My answer: It ‘s definitely up to you, but it is true that your child will most likely not remember the her first birthday party. You can always take pictures to show her when she is a little older, but if you are creating this party for her benefit, there might not be much there. It doesn’t mean that you can’t have a bunch of family and friends together to celebrate, however. Just know that it will be a celebration that you and your family will be having for your daughter, she doesn’t quite grasp the importance yet.
