The Fairfield Police Department released the following statement:
On March 12, 2012 at approximately 8:40 pm 47 year old Fairfield resident Clarence James was shot and killed in the driveway of his home in the 1100 block of Hayes St. The investigation into the murder of Clarence James has been ongoing with detectives from the Fairfield Police Department Investigations Bureau and the Solano County District Attorney’s Office.
On October 25, 2012 the Solano County District Attorney’s Office filed murder charges with special circumstances against Warren Sloan for the murder of Clarence James. Warren Sloan is currently in custody at the Solano County Jail facing charges for the murder of Cheynah Watson stemming from her death on March 31, 2012.
