What Would You Improve in Suisun City in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Suisun City, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Suisun City to make it an even better place to live?

What is on your wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

The corner of Marina Blvd. and Buena Vista Ave. really needs a light. At the very least, the light that is up a half block should be lit. I have seen several dead animals, and near misses of cars and kids at night. Will it take more deaths to get action on this?

STOP WALMART..!!! WE DO NOT need a shit-hole like Walmart in Suisun City. Workers of the world unite. We should not support our OWN demise. Walmart is nothing but a Wage Cutting, and Quality of Life Cutting Machine. NEVER push a Walmart cart. Stand together with the other 5 Billion people in the world that matter. Drop the 1% into a wood-chipper. Let them and their families die in extreme pain. Then the rest of us can maintain a world of health and happiness. God Bless

Re-name Hwy 12 between Marina blvd to Walters road , call it Suisun City Blvd, add a 3rd lane in both dirrections and Plant palm trees down the center .

Yes it would and Lawler Ranch Park would be perfect. The unused space in the middle of the concrete ring has plenty of space. The Cordelia dog park should be the model.

Let's turn the Marina shopping center into an entertainment center similar to what used to be available in Old Sac. Rock, rap and country music, with dancing, all in one area. This will fill the vacant spaces, at least on weekends. As the popularity grows, restaurants and other stores will fill the other vacancies.

Start planning for Suisun High School. Dixon has a high school, so why don't we? I'd like to see us separate from FSUSD. We have a good start with several great elementary schools. Make Suisun City the best public school system in Solano County and we won't have to depend on Walmart for our tax base. People will move here to get their kids into our schools.

I agree - if there was a way to stop the building of Walmart that would be top on my list.

I would like to see the center of Hwy 12 landscaped with ivy. Low maintenance, looks nice and neat.

10-4..!!! The guy/gal the programs the lights (i.e. Sunset @ Why 12) must not drive a car. There MUST be a way to get back at this pile of... Maybe the city can redirect his sewer access into his kitchen and bedroom. Do you think HE would notice THAT problem.? God Bless
