Calling All Local, Amateur Bakers

Amateur bakers are invited to compete in this year's Suisun Waterfront Art and Chocolate Festival.

Local amateur bakers will get a chance to compete and show off their culinary skills on Saturday, October 6 at the Annual Chocolate Bake-Off as part of the Suisun Waterfront Art Wine and Chocolate Festival.

“Our Bake-Off allows local chefs to compete for bragging rights to their friends as well as prizes.  We like to call it the “Iron Chef of Chocolate,” said Jeff Baggett, President of the Fairfield Suisun Rotary Club, the sponsor organization.

Culinary treats will be judged by professionals in the areas of chocolate pies, cakes, candies, cookies or artwork with special categories for youth (13-18) and children (5-12).
