Aldea Children and Family Services would like to invite interested community members to our first annual random act of kindness event. The event will be held on Saturday, February 11th from 1-3pm at Aldea’s Solano County offices, 470 Chadbourne Road, Fairfield. All attendees will have the opportunity to make Valentine’s Day cards to take home and also for seniors at Emeritus, a retirement home in Fairfield. The cards will be delivered to Emeritus on Monday the 13th. The event is free for all to attend. Snacks, drinks, and valentine decorating supplies will be provided. “Our goal for this event is to showcase the generosity that exists in our community every day,” said Mark Bontrager, Aldea’s Executive Director. “By practicing kindness ourselves and passing it on to others, we hope it will create a ripple effect.”
