Weekend Planner for April 22-24

Saturday:

Let's celebrate our Earth with waterway activities, land clean up and planting trees. After  a morning kick off at 9:30 am, there will be a 15 minute kayak sprint race, then it’s onto cleaning up the streets.  After lunch, we’ll plant a tree. Come on over to the Suisun Waterfront and join our neighbors.

Saturday:

Bring your kites and kids. It's a family friendly event. All ages and ability levels are welcome. The festival is free but there is a $5 parking fee. For more information call 707-432-0150 x200.

 If you go: Lynch Canyon is at 3100 Lynch Road in Vallejo, 1.5 miles off I- 80 from American Canyon/Hiddenbrooke Exit, American Canyon, and you can fly your kite from noon till 4 p.m.

Saturday:

Lets celebrate Earth Day together and set the Guinness world record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously! The more babies the better.  Lets put cloth diapers in the Guinness Book of World Records! The first 25 guests receive a free goodie bag including a Rumparooz changing pad and more. Every ticket will also be entered into our Earth Day Raffle! Snacks and beverages will be served. For rules and more information call (510) 387-6694.

If you go: Banana Peel Diapers is located at 260 Link Road, Suite E, Fairfield.  the diaper change takes place from 9am-11am.
