Solano Coroner Releases Name of Murder Victim

The man was shot after getting in an argument with three men in Fairfield.

The Solano County coroner's office has identified a man who was fatally shot in Fairfield last week as 35-year-old Jose Galvan.

Galvan was shot once during a fight with three suspects at an apartment in the 2300 block of Peach Tree Drive around 10 p.m. on June 12, police said.

He died the next morning at a trauma center, police Lt. Greg Hurlbut said. Police said Galvan was a Fairfield resident.

Police said the shooting suspects are three black males around 5 feet 9 inches tall.
The suspect who was armed with a handgun has a slender build and short hair. He was wearing a black hat with a white "C" on it, a blue and white plaid short-sleeved shirt, dark jeans and green and orange shoes, police said.
A second suspect has a slender build and shoulder-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

The third suspect has a slender build and was also wearing a hooded sweatshirt, police said.
