Kroc Center Launches Registration For Summer Camps

It will also host a Saturday party at the welcome center with a BBQ and a dunk tank.

The Kroc Center is due to open on May 26, but in the run up to opening, there is a lot of planning and activity.

  • The Kroc Center is hiring summer camp counselors. Go to www.gokroc.org for more information. Indeed hiring for all kinds of staff is in earnest, Capt. Jonathan Harvey said that only about 1/5 of the whole staff is hired.
  • On Saturday from 9a.m.- 1p.m., the Kroc Center Welcome Center will host a membership drive party with a BBQ and a bounce house, should the weather cooperate. For those who bring in a bag of cans, bottles or newspapers will not only enjoy a $1 enrollment fee, they’ll also get three tries to knock Capt. Harvey or Kroc Center Director Jason Perkins into a ice-laden dunk tank. Brrrrrrr!
