Dan O. Root Elementary School PTO Scholastic Book Fair - Community Night

Dan O. Root II Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair. There will be a special shopping night on February 1, from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM.

What:  Dan O. Root II Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair. There will be a special shopping night on February 1, from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM. Families, faculty, and the community are invited to attend this fun reading event that helps inspire children to become lifelong readers. Funds raised will help purchase books for classrooms and the school library.

Fitting with the theme of the Fair – Story Laboratory: Reading gives you super power! – the PTO will have a showing of Flubber (starring Robin Williams) beginning at 6:30 PM in the Multipurpose Room. There is no cost for the show. Concessions will be available for purchase at approximately $1/item. Children must attend with an adult, no exceptions.

When:  The on-site Book Fair will be open to the community for this one night only; February 1, from 5:30 PM-8:30 PM. The online Book Fair is open to anyone from January 25-February 14. Book Fair customers may help the school build classroom libraries by purchasing books through the Classroom Wish List program.
