$450K Marijuana Grow House Discovered in Vallejo; Nhat Loung in Custody

Solano County Sheriff Deputies find more than a bad renter while serving an eviction notice in Vallejo Thursday morning.

While serving and eviction notice on the 300 block of Pepper Drive in Vallejo, Thursday morning, Solano County Sheriff's Deputies stumbled upon a large sophisticated marijuana grow.

Two male subjects and one female greeted deputies with suspicious behavior, alerting a call for backup. Once additional deputies arrived, the residence was searched and the grow was discovered inside.

Detectives from the Solano County California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team, (CAL-MMET), discovered approximately 150 marijuana plants valued at approximately $450,000.

Detectives also found approximately one pound of processed marijuana with an estimated value of $3000.00, a shotgun and a .22 caliber pistol with the serial number altered or removed.

The Sheriff's Department reports, the large residence appeared to be set up for primarily growing marijuana, with only a small amount of space left as living quarters.
