Business of the Week: Air Land And Sea Travel

has been is a travel agency that has been planning trips for travelers in Suisun City since 1989. The full service agency located downtown on the corner of Main and Kellogg Street.

Fein describes herself as the typical “Air Force brat,” growing up in a family that moved every two years as her father served in the military. It was that early exposure to travel that helped her develop a love for it.

“I still had a desire to travel, so that’s why I got into the industry,” said Fein.

Fein loves being able to put together the perfect vacation package for her clients. Her agency specializes in the destinations of Ireland, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Canada, Spain, Alaska, Hawaii, and Disney destinations. As a member of the American Society of Travel Agents, she and her agents work to be well informed, taking a series of classes and tests, as well as visiting some the regions.

“We have specialties in different areas because we’ve taken classes through the travel institute,” she said. “We’ve taken classes on Spain and have actually gone to Spain. I’ve been to Ireland many times with the tourist boards and to the Netherlands and to Wales. The girls study different areas and get to go see them and enjoy, so they can help you when you do go.”

 Air Land and Sea Travel offers packages for cruises, tours, family reunions, group travel, business trips and city stays. Fein admits that people can order many of the same packages online, as opposed to coming to a travel agency. The big difference, she says, is being able to have someone plan your trip for you, at no extra cost. You can ask questions and find help with things you might not have considered on your own, and you can even make payment plans.

“The difference is that we take care of you...” said Fein. “We take the time, we give you instructions, advice on what to take, what to do, which you cannot always get off of the internet.”

Fein said she loves what she does and has so much fun planning the trips, she sometimes wishes she could go on them, too.

 “ One of our things is we want to make your vacations more of a dream come true,” she said, “So something that you are going to participate in and have the wonderful lasting memories afterward.”
