Vallejo is the 29th stop on the trophy's tour, which ends May 8, San Francisco Giants community relations manager Erin Reilly said.

On Wednesday, the trophy will be on display from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the B Street Community Center in San Rafael, and from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Richmond Memorial Auditorium in Richmond.

The trophy will appear at the San Mateo City Hall Atrium in San Mateo between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. on Monday and at the Pacifica Community Center in Pacifica between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. on March 17.

It will be on tour in Arizona starting March 3 and in Oregon on March 19, Reilly said. The trophy also will travel to Reno and Lake Tahoe in March.

Once baseball season starts, the trophy will be on display at AT&T Park during all Giants home games, Reilly said.

The names of the players on the 2010 world championship team will be engraved on the trophy in April, Reilly said.

Reilly estimates that more than 40,000 fans have seen the trophy on its tour and at private events so far.

The Giants' first home game is against the St. Louis Cardinals on April 8.
