July Events at the Suisun City Library

Special Suisun City Library July events as well as some great return ones

July brings a host of great repeat and new events to the all month long. Returning is this month is the reading hour for babies called Babies Love Books, where both moms and dads can learn how to have play time with their young ones up to 18 months.

“Our children’s librarian Julia Oglesby started that a month ago,” said Laurie Johnson, supervising librarian. “She teaches them how to do patty cake, she reads stories to them, helps the mom and dads do sing-a-long.”

One of the newest events is Creative Movements for Kids. The class, taught by dance instructor Maria Betts, is designed for kids 8 years old and up, and teaches them expression through dance movement.
