Recipe: Pumpkin Bread

Here is a great recipe for pumpkin bread for you to try.

I love fresh bread, and my cousin makes some of the best pumpkin bread, ever. Here is the recipe he uses for an alternative to all the pumpkin pie you might be exposed to this holiday. Also, if you try the recipe and love it, tell us in the comments. Enjoy!


15 oz. can of pumpkin

1 cup oil

4 eggs

3 cups flour

3 cups sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

2 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. ground ginger

1 tsp. ground nutmeg

 

Preheat oven for 325 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, ground ginger, and ground nutmeg in bowl, set to side. Mix pumpkin, oil and eggs in separate bowl. Combine all ingredients and place in greased 9 inch by 9 inch baking dish. Bake for 40 minutes. Check if ready by placing toothpick in bread to test. When toothpick comes out with virtually dry, bread is ready.
