Suisun, Vallejo & Oakland Ranked in Top 5 Most Diverse US Cities
Three California cities leading the nation in resident diversity.
The U.S. Census has reported that by 2050, there will be no racial or ethnic majority in the U.S. Vallejo, Suisun and Oakland are leading the nation in ethnic equality, recently rated 1st, 3rd, & 4th most diverse cities in America, according to an analysis of the Census Bureau study by Divya Raghavan on the website nerdwallet.
The overall scores were calculated by measuring how near the population was to an equal distribution of residents across the four most common ethnic groups: Hispanic/Latino, White (non-Hispanic), Black (non-Hispanic), and Asian/Pacific Islander (non-Hispanic).
