What's Happening at the Suisun City Library this Month?

New events are on the horizon this month at the Suisun City Library

This April there are a variety of exciting events being held at the . One of the newer events will include a Big Brothers/Big Sisters Mixer on Thursday, April 21. The night will be an informational session for those interested in becoming a volunteer for the organization.

“That’s a great opportunity for people who would like to learn more about mentoring youth to get involved and it’s a great opportunity for kids who might be looking for a big brother or big sister to come to the library that night,” said Jim Silverman, youth adult librarian.

Silverman said parents of infants can look forward to a new baby storytime hour coming soon to the library.

Another noteworthy library event, however, will not be taking place at the library, but online. Teens can now take advantage of the benefits of belonging to a book club by accessing the library’s online book club. Members of the teen book club will also be able to participate in discussions, as well.
