The NWS said a series of low pressure systems may spread valley rain and mountain snow across the region beginning Monday. This is combined with gusty southerly winds in the valleys and southwest winds in the mountains.

The NWS expects the snow level to be at 5000 feet, with travel across the Sierra Nevada range to be impacted.
