AARP Driver Safety five-hour refresher class
AARP Driver Safety classes are
designed for drivers age 50 or older. It's a great way to refresh your driving skills,
and earn a discount on your auto insurance for up to three years, too. For
2014, the course features a new name, a new look, and an all-new curriculum.
The next refresher class runs
from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19. The class is taught at the Fairfield
Senior Center, 1200 Civic Center Drive.
This refresher class is designed
for drivers who previously completed the full 8-hour AARP Driver Safety course
within the past four years.

Mail-in registration forms for
the Feb. 19 class are available at the Senior Center front desk. By law, enrollment
is limited to 25 students per class. The registration fee is $15 for AARP
members; $20 for nonmembers. Pay by check or money order, payable to “AARP.”
Bring a drink and a snack – this
will be a 5-hour class.
