Vacaville’s Memorial Day services will be held at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, on Monday, May 30, 2011. The host organization for this year’s event is the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7244 and Auxiliary.
Local elected officials, veteran’s leadership, members of Travis Air Force Base, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, along with the Vanden High School JROTC group, Vacaville High School Band members, and Fiesta Days Royalty have all been invited to participate in this year’s event at the cemetery. The ceremonies are open to the public and everyone is welcome for a day of remembrance and reflection.
