HEARTWARMING: Fairfield Police & Fire Honor The Spirit of Giving

Fairfield police and fire personnel made one victim's Christmas a little brighter this morning, helping her recoup after a theft.

According to a Facebook post by Fairfield Fire Department, Maria was walking home from work at a Fairfield fast food restaurant recently, when her purse, containing her cashed paycheck to pay for her month’s expenses, was stolen.

The Fairfield Police Officer’s Association (FPOA) reached out to our firefighter’s association (FPFA), part of Firefighters Local 1186 and the Napa Solano Firefighters Foundation, and together they donated the amount stolen from her.

Today, she was presented the donation by the police officers and firefighters at her place of employment.
