They showed up before Memorial Day and now there's a new holiday they're fit for coming up: July 4.
The little American flags lining the south side of Highway 12 between Marina Boulevard and Grizzly Island Road have provided a little patriotic color on the wooden fence since Memorial Day.
But the question remains: Who put them there?
It's a local mystery city hall has no idea how to solve, according to city spokesman Scott Corey. Patch is wondering, too, but we have a hunch there's someone out there in Patchland who knows the answer.
