Amber Alert Activated in Search for Missing Washington Girl
The girl was last seen getting into her boyfriend's vehicle.
California authorities activated an Amber Alert at the request of police in Kennewick, WA who are looking for 14-year-old Elizabeth Romero.
Romero was last seen getting into a green Ford Escape owned by her 19-year-old boyfriend Eduardo Flores-Rosalas. The vehicle has temporary plates issued by Washington State.
Officials believe the pair may be headed to Mexico after Romero’s mother received a text message Thursday from an unknown phone number. The person sending the text claimed to be Romero and said she was headed to Mexico with her boyfriend.

Elizabeth Romero is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing dark pants, a white tank top and had a pink purse and a backpack.
Her boyfriend and alleged abductor Lores-Rosalas is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 225 pounds.
