PRCS subjects are supervised by the Solano County Probation Department as a result of AB109, better known in criminal justice circles as Realignment. The law, which transfers the responsibility of monitoring, rehabilitating and incarcerating certain non-violent, non-serious offenders from the State to the Counties, has affected every facet of law enforcement throughout the state.
