Update 4:23 p.m.: Three lanes of eastbound Interstate Highway 80 at N. Texas Street in Fairfield have reopened following a three-vehicle collision this
afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
Lanes 2, 3, and 4, reopened at 3:30 p.m. and lane No. 1 remains closed until the center divider is repaired, the CHP said.
A big-rig and Subaru Outback overturned during the collision, CHP Officer James Evans said. The third vehicle in the crash reportedly was a Toyota Camry.
The big-rig blocked the center divider and the No.1 and 2 lanes, Evans said.
The California Highway Patrol reported the incident around 12:15 p.m. Minor injuries were reported, Evans said.
Update 3:03 p.m.: Two lanes of eastbound Interstate Highway 80 at North Texas Street in Fairfield remain blocked this afternoon following a three-vehicle crash, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
A big-rig and Subaru Outback overturned during in the crash, which was reported around 12:15 p.m., CHP Officer James Evans said. The third vehicle involved was reportedly a Toyota Camry.
The big-rig blocked the center divider and the No. 1 and 2 lanes, Evans said. The lanes were expected to be closed until about 3:45 p.m., Evans said.
