Fairfield Fire Department Responds To Report of Midday Shooting

According to posts on Facebook and Twitter, Fairfield Fire Engine 37 responded to a shooting on Dana Drive around midday Monday where one victim was taken to the emergency room.

According to posts on the Facebook and Twitter accounts of the Fairfield Fire Department, a midday shooting on Dana Drive in Fairfield has forced one person to be taken to the hospital. 

Fairfield Fire Battalion Chief Rob Bartoli said the victim - whose identity isn't currently available - had minor injuries and Fairfield Fire units have left the scene. Bartoli said Fairfield Police is still on the scene.
