Fairfield Police: Suisun City Man Shot Dead Last Night

Information from Fairfield Police Department:

Fairfield Police Dispatch received 911 calls from a local bar in the 600 block of Parker Road regarding a large fight inside.  As officers were responding, the call was upgraded to shots fired outside the bar.  Officers arrived and located two men shot.  Both men had gunshot wounds to the head. One gunshot victim, a 31 year old male from Fairfield was transported to a local hospital. He is listed in serious but stable condition. The second victim, a 29 year old male from Suisun City was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers determined a fight between two groups of men erupted inside the bar. The fight then moved outside where the shooting occurred. The nature of the conflict between the men is not known. The exact relationship between the men is not clear at this time. The case is in the early stages of investigation. Major Crime Unit Detectives do have leads in this case and are working through the night to identify the suspects in this homicide. Suspect information is not available at this time. The victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
