Fatality Reported in Motorcycle Crash On I-80, Lanes Blocked
Authorities are confirming that one person has lost their lives in an accident along Highway 80 this evening.

At least one person was killed in a traffic collision that has closed westbound Interstate Highway 80 in Fairfield, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All lanes were blocked on westbound Interstate Highway 80 at Green Valley Road in Fairfield due to the collision, which was reported shortly before 9 p.m.

Initial reports indicate the crash involved a motorcycle and a sedan. The motorcycle's rider was seen lying in the roadway shortly after the accident. A sig-alert closing all westbound lanes was issued at 9:08 p.m.
