what if the son asked for money and the father said no and the son then went to beat up his father? If the son got stabbed then would the father be a psycho?-the article does not indicate who was on the defensive.

TRUE, whats if it was the son that was forceful and went off on the father because he wouldnt give him any more money???? kids of today are so lazy and EXPECT parents to give them everything any time they ask for money or something. The son was living with his dad, again another part of the kids today not being able to take care themselves. Bet his son, doesnt have a job either!!!! It is just had to say, since the article didnt have much in the way of details. WHO KNOWS what really happened and why??

It's really pathetic how a tragic incident gets posted on the internet within hours of its occurance and the person who is arrested is immediately tried, convicted and sentenced to unspeakable atrocities by a pack of anonymous, faceless strangers. I think I'll wait until I've been provided with more than 5 brief sentences before I condemn this father to Hell. For now I'll just say I'm glad for both of them that it didn't turn out to be a homicide.

If you cant control your ANGER ,you need help . Get to the real cause of the anger hidden in your pass , and stop taking it out on your spouse and children . If you disagree with someone , does a person escalate to a RAGE OR THREATS, Dont be in DENIAL , people of this nature will sooner or later SNAP and hurt or kill someone .

Integr8er August 07, 2012 at 05:04 PM

Blame the recession, the depression and astronomical unemployment and record foreclosures...AKA 0bamanomics. There but for the grace of God go I.....

People are so quick to grab a weapon these days. Not making comment on guns or anything else, but more that fewer and fewer people know how to walk away from an argument until they cool off.

We live in a society being destroyed by exposure to long term fear and economic depression. In many cases families have had need to regroup and support one another under one roof.. In many cultures this is the norm regardless and helps promote elderly care of aging family members.. Overall the living situation has no legal bearing on assault with a deadly weapon against an unarmed Vic no matter the relationship. Equal force law of ca. It's not necessarily right but then again it seems to my humble view not much about this sounds "right" and the details are far too thin as yet to soundly judge for either side. Even in self defense though if I raise a weapon to you in defense and you bear only your fists? I can be the one put on trial as well via the equal force laws. Maybe it's time to educate ourselves so as to seek change or at least promote some clarification allowing for circumstance. Having said that I don't believe I could ever find myself bearing arms against the lives of one of my four children.. All boys. I have given too much to give them life to begin with and that love outweighs even my sense of self preservation. Never had to be in that spot either though.
