Napa Motorhome Couple Accused of Being Meth-Heads

Police say Amie and Billy Couch allegedly were tweaked on methamphetamine and had more of the drug, plus needles, in their motorhome when Napa PD arrested them in the Walmart parking lot Wednesday night. Arrest information does not indicate convictions.

A man and woman were arrested in the parking lot of the Napa Walmart Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of possessing and being under the influence of methamphetamine, with the woman facing an additional charge of resisting arrest, according to an arrest summary from the City of Napa Police Department:

Billy Couch (47 yrs. of Napa) and Amie Couch (46 yrs. of Napa) were contacted near their vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. Both displayed signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

An evaluation of both was conducted and it was determined that they were under the influence. When placed under arrest, Amie Couch refused to place her hands behind her back as requested by officers. With the assistance of the officers, her hands were placed behind her back and she was taken into custody. Billy Couch was taken into custody for being under the influence and for violation of probation.

A search or their vehicle resulted in officers finding suspected methamphetamine as well as hypodermic needles. A search of their nearby motorhome resulted in officers finding more hypodermic needles. Both persons were transported to Napa County Department of Corrections where they were booked.

Lol, no it's not! That's like adding an "o" to the end of words thinking it's Spanish. You crack me up. Most people here use the word "dealer" because the is no direct translation that quite captures the meaning of dealer. Just like there is no word for "closet" in Spanish, the closest thing to it more accurately describes what we think of as a Wardrobe. The direct translation is "traficante due drogas" or drug trafficker. I think slang is mostly used to identify a dealer, "connection" is my best guess. Most likely people who don't use drugs just say "dealer due drogas" when talking about it. Have a good day Michael! =)
