One Killed in Vacaville Crash on Eastbound I-80 Off-Ramp
The name of the person has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
One person died in a crash on an Interstate Highway 80 off-ramp in Vacaville this afternoon, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash happened at about 12:25 p.m. on the Peabody Road off-ramp from eastbound I-80.
Initial reports to the CHP indicated that the car was a Honda and had crashed through a fence and overturned but landed on its wheels.

The Solano County coroner's office was summoned at 12:45 p.m., according to the CHP.
The highway remained open, and Vacaville police and firefighters were responding.
