Peabody Road Closed For Fatal Hit-And-Run Investigation
Initial reports to the CHP indicated that a body was found in the roadway.
The California Highway Patrol and Fairfield police are at the scene of a fatal hit-and-run collision that has closed Peabody Road in Fairfield.
The incident was reported near Peabody Road and Joseph Gerevas Drive at 8:50 a.m., according to the CHP.
