Plane Goes Down In Suisun Marsh, No Serious Injuries

Two men walk away Saturday evening from emergency landing near Grizzly Island Road and Van Sickle Road

Two unidentified men walked away from what appears to be an emergency landing Saturday afternoon in the Suisun Marsh.

Sheriff's Lt. Gary Faulkner said a single-engine Cessna with two men inside made a rough landing after experiencing mechanical difficulties over the Suisun Marsh. A county alert identified the location as near Grizzly Island Road and Van Sickle Road at 3:03 p.m.

Faulkner said the two men had minor lacerations that were treated on scene by emergency responders. The last known whereabouts of the men were Highway 12 and Grizzly Island Road where the two were waiting for a ride home, Faulkner said.
