Police Catch Suspect In Suisun City Prowler Incidents

Police arrested 27-year-old Jason Lee Harris of Suisun City on charges of burglary

announced Wednesday they arrested a suspect in a series of what they call “hot prowl” residential burglaries that took place in the eastern portion of the city.

Police arrested 27-year-old Jason Lee Harris of Suisun on charges of burglary, booked him at the county jail and sent all related cases to the District Attorney’s office for review.

Harris is suspected of using unlocked doors to gain entrance to homes late at night, stealing items that could be easily concealed.

Police targeted Harris as a person of interest in the case because he lives near where the burglaries took place and was approached by police on several occasions in the area of the burglaries during early morning hours.

Police said they beefed up enforcement in the eastern part of the city and assigned extra officers to special details in an attempt to catch a suspect. Police also robo-called residences in the area, warning residents to lock their doors and report any suspicious activity to police as soon as possible.
