Police Warn: Suspects Posed as PG&E Workers Rob Vallejo Residents at Gunpoint
Two suspects posing as PG&E employees tied up three Vallejo residents, including a 6-year-old girl at gun point this morning and fled with cash and household items. Police are warning area residents to be aware.

Two suspects posing as PG&E employees tied up three residents of a Vallejo home this morning and fled with cash and household items, a Vallejo police lieutenant said.
Police were informed at 8:34 a.m. of the home invasion robbery that had just happened in the 1400 block of Farrell Street, Lt. Kevin Bartlett said.
Police found three residents, including a 6-year-old girl, who were tied up and robbed at gunpoint, Bartlett said.
The suspects, wearing orange vests and hard hats, knocked on the door of the residence and were let inside when they said they were with PG&E, Bartlett said.
The suspects tied up the residents, searched the house for 20 minutes and pistol-whipped a man who lives at the home, Bartlett said.
The suspects were described as a black man and possibly a Hispanic man in their 30s. They were seen leaving in a gold SUV similar to a Cadillac Escalade, Bartlett said.
Police are reminding residents to be leery of unplanned visits by workers, and to check their identification cards through a peephole before opening the door.
