A $10,000 reward has been offered for information about the person or persons responsible for the deadly shooting last month in Vallejo of a 31-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman who was six months pregnant with their twins, police said today.
Relatives of Dashoun Ramon Jones and Ashley Shari Mills joined police at a news conference today at the Vallejo Police Department to announce the reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the homicides.
Police Lt. Jim O'Connell is leading the investigation into the murders of Jones, Mills and their unborn son and daughter, who were killed in front of their home on the 1000 block of Atherton Street at about 9:18 p.m. on Sept. 6. Officers said that two African-American males dressed in hooded sweatshirts were seen running from the scene after nearby residents reported hearing shots fired in the neighborhood.
