Shooting Manhunt Stops Traffic Along Yolo Causeway

West Sacramento police spokesman Sgt. Nathan Steele said police responded to the report of shots being fired at B&R Head & Block Repair, 407 Harbor Blvd.

10:41 - Police are reporting a second carjacking in West Sacramento.

Interstate 80 along the Yolo Causeway is closed to traffic in both directions as law enforcement officials search for a shooting suspect who fled from West Sacramento.

According to a Sacramento Bee report, California Highway Patrol Officer Rich Wetzel said the suspect is described as a white man in his mid-to-late-20s, balding and wearing a light shirt and dark pants.

West Sacramento Police Department spokesman Sgt. Nathan Steele explained officers responded to shots being fired at B&R Head & Block Repair, 407 Harbor Blvd. around 6:30 a.m.
