UPDATE 7/22 10:43 a.m.: Bay City News Service said the Solano County Coroner's office identified the crash victim as 52-year-old Jeffrey Twitchell of Suisun City.

          A motorcyclist died after a crash in Fairfield Thursday morning,
police said.
          The driver of the motorcycle, a 52-year-old man from Suisun City, was driving eastbound on Travis Boulevard near Pennsylvania Avenue at around 8:40 a.m., when a car heading in the same direction changed several lanes and moved into the path of the motorcycle, police said.
          The motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle and he sustained
major injuries. He was taken to NorthBay Medical Center and later airlifted to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek where he succumbed to his injuries, according to police.
          The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man from Vacaville, was not
injured.
          The incident is under investigation and police said alcohol and
drugs did not appear to be a factor.
