Story And Poll: Suisun City Police Warn Of Roving Vandals

Vandals shooting BB guns or pellets have damaged property throughout the city in the past few weeks.

Suisun City police are warning the public to be on the lookout for roving vandals who have been shooting windows on cars and homes with BB guns or pellet guns.

According to a www.nixle.com community advisory:

During the month of January, the Suisun City Police Department responded to a large number of vandalisms in which vehicle and residential windows were damaged by a BB or pellet. It is unknown if the responsible subject(s)are shooting out windows from a vehicle or while walking through neighborhoods. No residents have been injured during these incidents, however property has been damaged. Please be aware of any suspicious persons in your neighborhoods and report them to the Police Department.

Police Cmdr. Tim Mattos said the vadalisms were happening "all over the city. It's not just in one place."

So far there have been 18 incidents in the past few weeks, he said, usually late at night or early in the morning.
