Suisun-Fairfield Duo Arrested on Suspicion of Car Burglaries, Thefts

Alexander Williams-Miles, 20, of Suisun and David McDaniels, 20, of Fairfield were arrested on suspicion of vehicle burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting arrest.

Fairfield police this morning arrested two men suspected of stealing and burglarizing cars.

Alexander Williams-Miles, 20, of Suisun, and David McDaniels, 20, of Fairfield, were arrested and booked into Solano County Jail for vehicle burglary, possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting arrest, McCormick said.

A resident of the 2500 block of Sanctuary Drive in Fairfield called police at 3:25 a.m. today after she heard her dogs barking and noticed the interior lights were on in her vehicle, McCormick said.

The caller's husband decided to drive around the neighborhood until police arrived, and he saw two people looking into cars, McCormick said.

Police arrived and saw the suspects in the area of Parkview Terrace and Martin Road, McCormick said. They fled, jumping over backyard fences, but were caught, McCormick said.

Suisun City police and the Solano County Sheriff's Office helped search for the suspects, McCormick said.

Officers later found two stolen vehicles in the area and learned that seven cars in the neighborhood had been burglarized, police said.

Evidence found inside the stolen vehicles linked Williams-Miles and McDaniels to the crimes, McCormick said.
