Suisun Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle/Big-Rig Crash

Angelo Cellini hurt in crash in Napa County.

A Suisun City man suffered major injuries this morning when his Harley Davidson motorcycle crashed into a big-rig on state Highway 12 in Napa County, a California Highway Patrol officer said.

The motorcyclist, Angelo Cellini, 51, struck the rear end of the big-rig near Kirkland Ranch Road on eastbound Highway 12 around 9 a.m. The big-rig had stopped because of a separate "chain-reaction" collision in the highway's westbound lanes, CHP Officer Jake Ramos said.

Cellini could not stop his motorcycle in time to avoid the big-rig, Ramos said. He was taken to Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, Ramos said.
