Suisun City man arrested as a suspected connection to the crime

Two 15-year-old boys were arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of
robbing several teens at gunpoint and shooting one of the victims in
Fairfield early Sunday morning, police said.

Easter Perkins, 39, of Suisun City, also was arrested as an
accessory, Fairfield police Lt. Randall Boggs said.

Perkins is suspected of trying to provide an alibi for one of the
juveniles, Boggs said.

The teens, one from Fairfield and one from Suisun City, were
arrested for armed robbery, attempted murder and conspiracy, and booked into Solano County Juvenile Hall, Boggs said.

They were taken into custody during a traffic stop in Fairfield around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Boggs said. Police recovered a .38-caliber revolver from the vehicle, Boggs said.

The robbery happened at about 12:50 a.m. Sunday.

Police said two suspects approached a group of six Fairfield
residents between 16 and 19 years old as they were walking down B. Gale Wilson Boulevard.

The suspects made the teens line up against a fence and surrender
their cellphones and wallets, Boggs said.

As the suspects walked away, one of them turned and fired at least
one shot toward the group of teens, wounding a 19-year-old in the back, Boggs said.

The victims flagged down a motorist, who took the shooting victim
to NorthBay Medical Center. His injuries were not life-threatening.
