Vacaville Police Search For Men Who Robbed ATM Customers

The robberies occurred at a Peabody Road ATM.

Vacaville police are looking for suspects who robbed two men at an ATM machine on Peabody Road in the last two weeks.

On Tuesday at around 9:45 p.m., a man was robbed at gunpoint as he withdrew money from the Wells Fargo ATM at 1979 Peabody Road, Sgt. Dave Marsh said.

The suspect was described by the victim as a black male adult in his late teens, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet with a thin build. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie sweatshirt and dark colored pants. Marsh said.

The suspect ran off toward Southwood Drive, evading a search by police and a K-9 unit, Marsh said.

On April 10, a man was robbed at gunpoint around 8:55 p.m. as he withdrew money from the same ATM, Marsh said.

The victim said the robber was a Hispanic male adult in his late teens to early 20s. He was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and black baseball cap, Marsh said.

A second suspect who assisted the robber was wearing a light colored hoodie sweatshirt, Marsh said.

Police are advising residents to be extra cautious when withdrawing money from ATM machines, especially those outdoors.
