'Vehicles Sinking Into Pavement' on North Texas Street, Fire Department Says

We're waiting on details from the Fairfield Fire Department.

 

We have limited details at the moment, but there are reports of a water main break in the area near North Texas Street and Travis Boulevard in Fairfield. 

The call came in at 10:55 a.m. according to the Solano Fire Facebook page. Fairfield Fire confirmed the report, but we're still waiting to hear back with details.

According to Solano Fire, some vehicles are "sinking into the pavement." 

The Fairfield Fire Department told Patch that when the main broke, it created erosion in the pavement.

"A van drove through and got stuck," a spokesperson said. The van has since been removed and public works is on the scene. They'll attempt to locate the specific location of the break.
