Council Member Hopefuls Celebrate In Their Own Way

Excitement is in the air in Suisun City.

It's election night in Suisun City and council member hopefuls Sam Derting, Lori Wilson and Mike Segala are each celebrating in their own way.

In keeping with past tradition Sam opted to stay in for a quiet night with his wife.

Lori Wilson is awaiting updated results from the Solano County website along with family, friends and campaign supporters.

When asked how she's feeling, Lori replied, "I'm excited! We were out walking the polls today...getting good feedback."

Side by side screens projected the national poll results along with county results. Mike McMurry, City Treasurer candidate, and his wife stopped in to visit.

The sign at Pane E Vino read, "Closed for private party" and thats just the Segala's were doing. Mike Segala was celebrating with his family and a good glass of chianti while waiting for election results.

Excited at the finality of the process, Mike relayed that it had been a good, clean campaign. When he was out having a coffee this morning, Mike said people had approached him and told him they'd voted for him which made him feel good.

When asked if he will run again, Mike replied, "If people want me in office, then that's what I'm going to do."
