Got Craft Supplies For Fairfield PAL?

The Police Activities League is looking for craft supplies for its programs.

Information from City Of Fairfield:

The Fairfield Police Activities League (PAL) at the Matt Garcia Youth Center is looking for help stocking its arts and crafts supply shelf. This summer, several local crafters will be volunteering at the center to lead arts and crafts projects. Students will make jewelry and hair accessories, friendship bracelets and more craft projects.

The PAL center is looking for:
-       Headbands (Plain ones without decor on them, since we will be adding the decor)
-       Hair Clips (mostly need alligator clips but can use other kinds as well)
-       Silk (fake) flowers of any kind
-       Rhinestones, beads, brooches (Any sort of sparkle!)
-       Feathers
-       Ribbon
-       Fabric Scraps
-       Nail Polish / Nail Polish Pens (open / used ones are fine!)
-       Beads, clasps and other jewelry making supplies
-       Embroidery thread  (all colors will work-but students prefer bright and bold colors)

The center can use old and used supplies for these projects.  Donations can be dropped off at the PAL Center Monday-Friday between 3-9 p.m.

About the Fairfield PAL Program

The Fairfield PAL Program at the Matt Garcia Youth Center is open to Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis students enrolled in grades seven through twelve.  Memberships are $10 per year and can be purchased at the Fairfield Community Center (1000 Kentucky Street) Monday-Thursday between 11:30-5:30 p.m. A current student ID is required to register. The Fairfield PAL program at the Matt Garcia Youth Center offers Fairfield, Suisun, and Travis teens in Fairfield-Suisun and Travis Unified School Districts a place to grow, learn, and build the skills they need today and in the future. The PAL Center offers teens a safe environment, supports working families, and helps students achieve by giving them opportunities right now.  PAL offers daily boxing and homework programs, basketball, life skills and leadership training, a full multi-media music and television studio (where the student produced PAL TV Show is produced), arts and crafts, and more!
