The Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council will meet Thursday, October 11, at 3 p.m. in Room 6004 of the Solano County Administration Center, 675 Texas St. in Fairfield.
The agenda for the meeting includes updates on a variety of programs and services available in the Juvenile Division of the Probation Department. The council will consider approving the Solano County Comprehensive Multiagency Juvenile Justice Action Plan.
The mission of the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council (JJCC) is to develop a comprehensive, multiagency plan that identifies the resources and strategies for providing an effective continuum of responses for the prevention, intervention, supervision, treatment, and incarceration of male and female juvenile offenders, including strategies to develop and implement locally based or regionally based out-of-home placement options for youth.
