Rodriguez High School Student Savana Price is being mourned in the analog world and through social media as people take stock of what happened before someone reported the crash at 5:33 a.m. Friday morning.
According to CHP:
Price was speeding in a 1998 Nissan Frontier south on Ramsey Road
north of Gold Hill Road in Fairfield when she crossed the northbound lane and
went off the roadway, CHP Sgt. Chris Parker said. The truck hit a dirt embankment and became airborne, traveled 60 feet and struck a tree, Parker said.Price was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected from the truck. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision, Parker said.
